O estresse acadêmico em estudantes universitários peruanos: importância dos comportamentos de saúde, características sociodemográficas e acadêmicas comportamentos de saúde, características sociodemográficas e acadêmicas

Antecedentes: A etapa universitária confronta os estudantes com situações específicas do contexto que podem ser estressantes para eles. Para reconhecer esta experiência, é proposto o termo estresse acadêmico, que desencadeia sintomas que podem afetar sua saúde. Objetivo: descrever a prevalência do estresse acadêmico, seus componentes e analisar o papel das variáveis sociodemográficas, acadêmicas e comportamentais nas dimensões do estresse. Métodos: Foram pesquisados 1801 estudantes universitários de 6 cidades do Peru, 57,7% dos quais eram do sexo feminino e suas idades variaram de 18 a 54 anos (M = 20,79, SD = 2,69). Foram administrados o Inventário SISCO e o Inventário Cevju-Peru. Resultados: 83% dos estudantes relataram ter sofrido estresse acadêmico durante o semestre, com uma presença maior de níveis médios e médios-altos. Em análises de regressão linear múltipla para cada indicador de tensão, foram encontrados modelos médios para Intensidade de tensão (R2 = .16, p < .001) e Freqüência de tensões (R2 = .13, p < .001); assim como modelos grandes para Sintomas (R2 = .32, p < .001). Os hábitos de saúde tiveram um efeito maior em todos os modelos. Conclusões: o estresse acadêmico é considerado um problema relevante na população estudada; o papel preditivo do gênero, a motivação para estudar e a maioria dos comportamentos de saúde nos indicadores de estresse acadêmico é evidente.

Durante o processo de revisão editorial, a revista fornecerá ao autor as versões anteriores (pós-impressão) que NÃO devem ser divulgadas por nenhum meio de comunicação, apenas para uso pessoal e para aprovação final. Liberabit, enviará ao autor a versão final do artigo (versão publicada) em PDF e HTML para ser compartilhada, divulgada e divulgada pela mídia disponível na web. Após a publicação dos artigos, os autores podem fazer outros acordos independentes ou adicionais para a divulgação não exclusiva da versão do artigo publicado nesta revista (publicação em livros ou repositórios institucionais), desde que seja indicado com a respectiva referência que a obra foi publicada pela primeira vez nesta revista.
