Articulação trabalho-família e satisfação no trabalho: o papel do comprometimento afetivo

Objetivo: o objetivo da presente investigação foi analisar se alguns dos tipos de compromisso organizacional mediados relação entre articulação trabalho-família e satisfação no trabalho. Método: para isso, um estudo empírico, quantitativo e transversal, enquadrado nas diretrizes da estratégia associativo-explicativo. A mensuração das variáveis de interesse é realizada com uma bateria composta por instrumentos validados ao contexto e que eles tenham propriedades adequadas psicométrico. Trabalhamos com uma amostra não probabilística, por conveniência, de 376 funcionários (191 homens e 185 mulheres) de organizações do setor terciário, dada sua importância no mundo atual do trabalho. Resultados: os resultados indicados esse comprometimento afetivo medeia parcialmente as relações entre as dimensões do construto articulação trabalho-família (enriquecimento e conflito) e satisfação no trabalho. Este tipo compromisso se constitui como um construto mediador entre o satisfação no trabalho e possibilidades de articular demandas das diferentes esferas vitais. Esse mecanismo pode ser explicado à luz da teoria do estresse de papéis e da teoria das trocas Social. Conclusões: esses achados podem ser de interesse ao projetar práticas amigáveis de gerenciamento com o família que permite reter o talento humano e aumentar vínculos afetivos dos funcionários com a organização.
