Avaliação psicométrica inicial do Questionário do Pensamento Perseverativo em estudantes universitários peruanos

Antecedentes: O Questionário do Pensamento Perseverativo (PTQ) é uma medida geral do pensamento negativo repetitivo, uma dimensão transdiagnóstica central da saúde mental. Objetivos: Este estudo procurou examinar a estrutura de fatores, confiabilidade e evidência de validade associativa do PTQ em estudantes universitários peruanos. Uma versão curta também foi proposta. Métodos: Os dados de 240 estudantes universitários (Medad = 20,33, 59 % de mulheres) foram avaliados com análise fatorial de confirmação. Após encontrar a melhor estrutura de fatores, a confiabilidade foi estimada com o coeficiente ômega. A correlação entre a variável latente PTQ e a fusão cognitiva foi examinada como prova de validade associativa. Além disso, seis itens foram selecionados para criar uma versão curta. Resultados: O PTQ provou ser essencialmente unidimensional, pois um ajuste aceitável foi obtido usando o modelo de um fator com três correlações de erros (IFC = .945; RMSEA = .079). A confiabilidade era alta (ω = .927). A correlação entre PTQ e fusão cognitiva era muito grande (φ = .876). Resultados semelhantes foram encontrados para a versão curta. Conclusão: O PTQ é uma medida essencialmente unidimensional; portanto, apenas uma pontuação global deve ser calculada. A validade associativa deve ser mais bem examinada em estudos futuros.
